Based on a similar idea to ‘Lord of the Flies’ but brought up to date with modern children’s attitudes, it lacked a proper ending.

I can understand how this has been linked to ‘Lord of the Flies’, but it doesn’t have any of the psychological nuánces that masterpiece has. Still quite interesting though.

Mixed feelings about this movie. It has all the expected mix of teen experiences, from first love and physical attraction to power struggles which lead to extreme violence. The problem I have with this film is that it’s only half of the story. It just ends…where’s the other 30 to 45 minutes of the rest of the story. I feel cheated by the writers…and the directors for putting out a half finished movie.

It seemed that it should have more subtitles with dialogue.
