“Alexis” is a cool-looking and very well made short, tense, thrilling and full of surprises, even though it’s only 9 minutes long. The first half is bright and clear, while the second half is dark and gloomy. Cinematography is damn pretty, the subtle music fits perfect, the direction is superb and all of the actors give ace performances, especially youngster Miguel Mártinez and Jonathan D. Mellor, best known as Dr. Owen in “[REC 2]”. Alex-cellent! ?
