User review:
In a rural American outback, a young boy with only himself, a disengaged father and a shallow set of circumstances as company, decides to make things happen for himself. He doesn’t have a lot to work with and we are granted audience to his inventiveness as well as his light bulb moment. He is primed and ready, by just being a regular boy in curious conditions, to launch himself into discovering how to work with what he has in order to get the things he wants. He discovers within himself not only the power to affect circumstances but to impact his own condition through the cunning use of roadkill. Excellent story brilliantly shared. Cinematography, directing and editing deliver that curious beauty that happens when the mundane becomes stunning.
