A trip to the Eastern Germany of the 70s is offered to those interested through this funny children story with no other aim than to amuse kids. A film like this has now acquired the added value of documentary about a world that has gone: gangs of happy kids enjoying a life of adventure in the countryside. No noticeable violence or bad language; many naked boys can be seen frolicking around in a couple of innocent skinny dip scenes.
