She takes up important issues such as sexual emancipation, social conventions and puberty itself in an environment that is strongly defined by gender stereotypes. This overall package keeps the tension from the start and surprises with its plot twist. Together with its very strong design, which has similarities with the Oscar winner “Moonlight” (2016), which was created at the same time, the short film “We love Moses” is a strong narrative cinema with very convincing actors and the right mixture of authenticity and artificial cinema reality.
