Highly recommend you go catch this special indie. The movie is based off of the director’s own personal experiences growing up in the 1970’s. It tackles themes of boyhood, manhood, friendship, parental troubles, drug experimentation, and situational humor deftly and excitingly. The pacing is nice and doesn’t drag much.
