Storyline

A boy from a small town has never kissed a girl. So one day he and his friends decide to go to the ‘big city’ to see if they have more luck there. In the city, the boys get much more then they bargained for.

A small-town boy never kissed a girl and it seems to him he never will. His best friend keeps telling him about girls in big cities who get drunk and horny when they smoke cigarettes. One day he decides to join his friends for a trip to a city and try his luck there. The friends are about to get much more than they have ever expected. Young Islandic director Guðmundur Arnar Guðmundsson revisits the topic he tackled in his first award-winning short film Whale Valley: young people in an alienated environment. Whale Valley won a special jury mention at the last year’s Zagreb Film Festival as well as a special mention in Cannes. Guðmundsson often says that he likes making films about childhood and teenage years because this is the age when life manifests its bright and dark sides at the same time.
