Description
Boy Eating the Bird’s Food 2012
To agori troei to fagito tou pouliou (original title)
Not Rated | 1h 20min | Drama | 9 May 2013 (Greece)
Storyline:
Three days in the life of an Athens boy who is without a job, a girlfriend, or anything to eat. The only thing he has left is his canary, and he will quite literally share with it anything he’s got.
User review:
It is the vision of western Europeans about being poor: living alone in a luxuos apartment, having a private singing teacher, having a parrot but not having anything to eat and to not have a good relationship with your parents and eventually become homeless. It is such a cliché! The movie tries to impress the critics by faking to understand the artists nowadays that are not payed enough. The main character also seem to have some mental issues but how serious they are, it is hard to tell. However if the critics may see themselves in the main character as not being payed well enough, then the movie will really score very well. In fact the whole point is to make people understand Greek’s financial crises.
