Storyline:Rue pursues a new business venture as she helps forge a friendship between Jules and Elliot. Cassie settles into a routine, while Lexi pours herself into mounting a school play. Maddy considers getting back together with Nate, and Cal finds a target.User review:There wasn’t a lot from Cal’s introduction, missing motive of his character structure. It fell flat. It started to pick up once we make the focus back to Rue and the other high schoolers. Some scenes could’ve used some script revisions, as some scenes felt vacant and took me off the screen for a few moments. Not really any jarring cinematography except Rue’s monologue at the start. Enjoyed Elliot dialogue and Lexi’s narrative. Although this episode helps to crank up the stakes for some of character for the rest of the season, there wasn’t much to take from. Being the weakest in the series and somewhat forgettable.
