An insight in the East German society of the 1980s, only for those interested or nostalgic. This feel-good family story also helped me revise my German. High quality picture. The language is correct; there is no violence; two scenes involve casual, full nudity of two young boys, with no sexual content.

I can only rate this as a 5 because, unfortunately, I thought it had English subtitles, which it does not. So I was disappointed. Although the show looked like it was funny. DVDBay was nice enough to give me another download for free. That’s how awesome they are.

Not bad but would’ve been better with subtitles like it says and it was the wrong episode sorry to any inconvenience.

I found this quite humourous though the mother character was a bit over the top fraught perhaps.

Quite short, mildly funny, but at least it has the promised scenes.

Good story about a man trying to find purpose in life after retirement.

Easy to follow for those unfamiliar with the language. But be aware that around 90% of the film concentrates on the main character – with no children! The short scene with the boys in the bath is quite comical and they have no problems with being naked in front of a “male babysitter.”

A bit slow.

A fun movie and the lead actor was great. The children also did a nice job of acting – cute and vibrant, not to mention brave.
