Does this take place at some sort of convention?? I don’t know, because I don’t speak Japanese.Fortunately though, you’re not gonna care that much about that, because this is packed to the brim with action, violence and beautiful imagery. There are some seriously impressive fighting scenes in this as well as a really incredible opening, that shows several characters, covered in blood, lying dead in a forest, while epic music plays. As far as I can tell, the plot’s about this samurai who falls in love with a femboy who’s involved with one of the other samurai – this is eventually found out and the femboy’s killed – leaving him traumatized and thirsting for vengeance.The amount of these films with purple-tinted scenes has me thinking they might all share the same cinematographer – unfortunately, I can’t figure this out, because I’m the only log and (last sentence in first paragraph).Director: Hiroyuki Kawasaki
