De kleine blonde dood 1993
1h 35min | Drama | 11 March 1993 (Netherlands)
Poet Valentijn comes in contact with his former teacher Mieke. After a brief relationship Valentijn leaves her. But when he later gets to know his son, a bond develops between the two.
The little blonde death is quite controversial and certainly for a movie at the time it can sometimes be called shocking. Perhaps also typically Dutch, because the cursing and cursing, the almost glorification of excessive drug use and the functional nude are not shunned. But it fits in the world of free-thinking Valentine. A role that was played formidably by Antonie Kamerling. Perhaps his best role in his short film career. But also the very young Olivier Tuinier deserves praise for his portrayal of the funny little boy Mickey.
