I adored this melodrama with its great script, excellent direction, vivid production and wonderful actors. Like many viewers I confess the relentless “hell has no fury like a woman scorned” trope unsettled me initially – though it was delivered superbly. This is a moving film about love – its joy and heartbreak. Don’t miss it.
