The Wylds 2010
1h 48min | Action, Adventure, Drama | 31 August 2010 (USA)
Chris, a runaway child, lives with a group of misfits in a junkyard, stealing to survive. When a traveling preacher tells him that his father is alive and wants him to come home, Chris must leave his family of thieves and venture into the wilderness in search of his father and a better life. Join Chris on an action-packed adventure as he outwits bandits, escapes swamp monsters, battles evil robots, and learns valuable lessons about choosing the right path in life. A contemporary allegory inspired by John Bunyan’s “The Pilgrim’s Progress.”
I have never seen a more disappointing movie, i bought it from tesco thinking it would be a good children’s fantasy adventure but when I started to watch it I realised it was the complete opposite. From the awful actors to the tacky costumes. I haven’t got a clue what time zone it is meant to be because most of the adults have old fashion clothing like top hats but then there is robots and modern buildings. Scince when do cowboys happen to have two swords. I know £3 seems cheap but for this movie i felt very ripped of, my family and thought it was made by a drama club with a normal camera. My brother who is 7, my sister who is 10, me 14 and my mum and dad found it funny that it was so rubbish and tacky.
