I bought a DVDBay copy of this DVD with English sub-titles as I found the German language version I previously owned difficult to fully understand. The quality of the DVDBay version was excellent.
The video is a story about a 12 year old boy growing up in a mining community in Germany around about the 1960s. It brought back many memories of my own life in an English mining community, the strict discipline of those days, the community spirit and seeing the steam driven winding engines at the pit, very nostalgic.
