one of the simple story about change. a moment of truth. and the transformation of a friendship. nothing surprising. only the nuances to an answer. and the final silence. more than a story, it is a good portrait of states. contradictory, strange, not bizarre but enough for define clear things like courage, friendship, curiosity, honor, silence, choices. and this does “Buddy” more than a pretext to say a summer story. because it has the virtue to be only a simple story about simple things. maybe about grow-up. or about characters. or only an episode from a large picture who must be imagined. maybe too dark to be ignored in its small signs.
