Sky Palace (1994) is a family film from Iceland. A little boy, Emil, wants a pet dog. But his family is having money problems. However, his Dad tells him that if he can earn the money himself then he can buy one. Emil finds a dog he likes from a local breeder and sets out to find work. What can I say? It’s just a simple themed family film. If this is your cup of tea, then you’ll like it. If you like complex movies with stronger plots, you might want to skip this one. I, myself, like all sorts of movies. I knew what kind of movie this was going in to it. So I wasn’t disappointed. For what it’s worth, I’ll give it 3 stars.
