Storyline:Divided into four chapters – Son, Daughter, Father and Mother – “Four Windows” is a look inside the brains of a not-so-normal German family. Son leaves for school but actually cruises the local gay video arcade. Dad hires a hooker, Mom flirts with the handyman and Daughter rides the subways, looking to share some intimate moments. At dinner that night, the secrets they hold come to a head.User review:I’m rating this movie 8 because it completely diverted me one afternoon while I was recovering from entertaining a visitor for three days. The movie depicts a middle-class German family in which each member thirsts for sexual adventure. It is slow moving, but what happens next is never predictable. Some of the fun is in the little details: the way the father and daughter show their anti-social inclinations by littering, the way the mother scratches a bit of something-or-other off a wall–the way she does a solo dance. All the actors are attractive and pleasing to look at. If you want a sweeping story, this isn’t it. If you like observing people, you will like this movie. The one big weakness is that there is no big payoff at the end. The movie just sort of stopped, and I wished it hadn’t.
