Storyline:After Bobby and his best friend Kevin are kidnapped and taken to a strange house in the middle of nowhere, Bobby manages to escape. But as he starts to make a break for it, he hears Kevin’s screams for help and realizes he can’t leave his friend behind.User review:Wow! This was really impressive! A true cat and mouse on the edge of your seat thriller. This would be great with a crowd. So many moments to scream and cheer at. It has the kind of violence you can feel. We can’t really imagine our heads being chopped off but when the pain involves fingers, Yikes!This is first film by David Charbonier and Justin Powell making it all more impressive in how solid it is. All the techs are excellent. Nice camera work with some great tracking shots. Editing is effective as well knowing not to cut away too quick during some of the touching moments. Yes there are moments that are quite emotional. This is credit to the great performances by actors Lonnie Chavis (who really carries the entire movie on his young shoulders) and Erza Dewey, who are so believable as best friends “till the end”. You want to see them survive. It’s nice to see that the directors are equally good with the actors (child ones at that) as they are with the techs. Did I say this is their first film?!I’m not going to mention plot. If you like movies like Don’t Breathe, The People Under the Stairs, and The Shining you should like or maybe even love The Boy Behind the Door.Directors: David Charbonier, Justin Powell
