I would watch any film with Cory Haim and have never been disappointed, even in some “B” films. It is so sad how his life was cut short. But you are not reading this review to hear about Cory. I think this was a very well made second rate film. It kept my attention and was suspenseful at times but not like an “A” film. I watched it with a friend, and at one part, the mother instructs Cory to let the truck ride in neutral until he gets to the road so they won’t hear him. He says, “I know Mom. I’ve been sneaking out for months now.” The Mom retorts, “Remind me to spank you…” My friend said, “Now that’s sorry Coop! He just told on himself.” But seriously, it was a good second rate film, with the best actor being the dog.
